Alibaba Cloud brings AI conference to Amsterdam
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, Alibaba Cloud will organize the Apsara Conference at the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam. This edition marks the first international event of the conference. Attendees will have the opportunity to get acquainted with Alibaba's Qwen models and try out interactive demonstrations of various AI agents themselves. Sign up for the event is free, making it accessible to a wide audience of IT decision-makers and developers.
The program of the Apsara Conference will be opened by Feifei Li, CTO of Alibaba Cloud, followed by a presentation by Xudong Guo, a Qwen researcher, on AI agents and their practical applications. Various speakers, including Joaquín Cuenca Abela from Magnific, are expected to share insights into collaborations around the Qwen AI platform and the programming assistant Qoder. The morning program will conclude with a panel focusing on the practical applications of AI agents in business processes.
In addition to the morning program, attendees will have the chance to attend demonstrations of the latest AI tools in the exhibition space, including Qwen3.8-Max and the speech recognition model Qwen-Audio-3.1-ASR. Alibaba Cloud has also organized three parallel forums: the Foundation Model & Applications Forum, the Agentic Cloud Forum, and the Worldwide CXO Nexus Forum. The latter is accessible by invitation only, emphasizing the exclusivity of the event.
The conference offers not only valuable insights with its diverse program but also practical examples of AI applications. Companies and developers interested in applying AI in their processes can register until October 29 through the official website of the Apsara Conference Amsterdam.
