GPT-6 introduces interactive features in ChatGPT

OpenAI proudly announced the launch of GPT-6, featuring a new concept called Intelligent UI in ChatGPT. This update allows users to receive not only textual responses but also visual elements such as graphs, buttons, and interactive tools. This can be particularly useful for answering complex questions, such as using a budget calculator within the conversation itself, creating an exploratory and visual experience.

The global rollout of these features for GPT-6 began on October 7 for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscribers, while users of the free versions will gain access on October 8. The announcement was shared via a post on X by OpenAI, emphasizing the speed and interactivity of the responses provided by the new system.

With the Intelligent UI, GPT-6 can offer interactive visualizations that respond to user input, creating a dynamic learning experience. Users can, for example, engage with a topic while simultaneously viewing results in graphs or forms. This facilitates exploring complex themes without needing to input new questions repeatedly. Variables can thus be easily changed and adjusted.

One of the most practical applications mentioned by OpenAI is the interactive budget calculator, which allows users to easily track and visualize their expenses. Additionally, it is possible to play games or insert other visual elements during the conversation that help illustrate concepts better. The usability of these new features will largely depend on their practical implementation and accuracy. It is a step in a new direction for OpenAI, enhancing the user experience in ChatGPT, making it more versatile and interactive.

The update concerns the Chat tab within ChatGPT, while the models behind other applications such as Work and Codex remain unchanged. OpenAI emphasizes that while the rollout occurs globally, not all features may be available to every user immediately.
