Europe's Industrial Leaders Transforming With NVIDIA
Europe's industrial leaders are leveraging NVIDIA's CUDA-X and Omniverse libraries, as well as the Cosmos and Nemotron open models, to increase productivity, accelerate innovation, and create new economic opportunities. The NVIDIA Factory Operations Blueprint (FOX) is now available in early access on GitHub, allowing developers to build always-active factory management agents that coordinate work between machines and focus on specific tasks such as visual inspection and report generation.
By utilizing the FOX blueprint, industrial agents can monitor factory operations in real-time and correlate visual findings and machine logs to investigate issues and facilitate responsive coordination. These agents can connect to advanced models, including NVIDIA Cosmos, and learn adaptively without fine-tuning through the use of examples and documentation.
Siemens is integrating agents built with FOX into Intelligence Center X, enabling cost-effectiveness savings of 20%. At their factory in Erlangen, Siemens has managed to reduce calibration time for inspection processes by 40% using NVIDIA Cosmos Data Factory tools.
The NVIDIA CUDA-X libraries accelerate simulation and provide engineers with faster feedback to explore design alternatives before creating physical prototypes. Mercedes-Benz and other companies have utilized these technologies for faster simulations and inspection processes. Audi and Schaeffler are applying digital twins to test manufacturing concepts and robot behavior, allowing them to evaluate changes without the need for physical adjustments.
By using NVIDIA's technology alongside platforms like Microsoft Azure, companies are enhancing their inspection and maintenance processes by deploying agents that combine engineering data and 3D facilities, resulting in more efficient and safer production.
