France Accelerates Agentic Computing with NVIDIA

Companies in France are deploying agentic computing on a wide scale across diverse industries, including aerospace, financial services, and scientific research. The French ecosystem has made significant progress in recent years, building on a solid foundation laid by events such as the AI Action Summit and the Choose France Summits, where key computing agreements have been reached.

The agentic infrastructure in France is expanding with the help of NVIDIA technology. For instance, Bull is expanding its European AI server production and has recently announced the deployment of NVIDIA Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems, with a planned production start in 2028. Additionally, Loft Orbital has launched the Altair-1 satellite, which utilizes NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge modules for autonomous operation in orbit.

Moreover, NVIDIA Nemotron open models are being produced for French organizations that require reliable, sovereign data. In the financial sector, SBS is introducing a platform that enables banks to implement centralized generative and agentic services, with NVIDIA as a partner. Mistral has also recently launched an open model that delivers outstanding performance for applications in cybersecurity, finance, and manufacturing.

The use of open models and NVIDIA infrastructure offers measurable benefits across various sectors in France. L'Oréal has shifted cosmetic formulation from laboratories to digital screening, making the discovery process up to 100 times faster. In telecommunications, Bouygues Telecom has launched an AI Studio that allows employees to build their own agents in a secure environment. These developments illustrate that France is playing a leading role in the application of agentic computing, with a wide range of applications promoting efficiency and innovation across various sectors.
