NVIDIA's Jensen Huang: AI Will Transform Enterprises
NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang shared his vision on the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) during Salesforce Dreamforce. On stage with CEO Marc Benioff, he announced the introduction of Koa, Salesforce's first CRM reasoning model built on the NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super. Huang emphasized that AI as infrastructure globally enables us to "know everything and do everything" and that the development of Koa was made possible by a synthetic dataset of nearly thirty years of enterprise CRM implementations.
In response to questions about AI safety, Huang stated that safety is essential: "Safety is in many ways the most important. It is an engineering problem," said Huang. He argued for combining innovation and leadership with safety and suggested that if a product or service is not safe or functional, it should not be brought to market. Huang praised the capabilities of AI without fearing that it would destroy jobs, and stated that companies need to prepare to take advantage of the benefits of AI for their productivity increase.
Huang predicts that all companies and enterprises will eventually become AI companies. He highlighted the role of open models in this transition, noting that the percentage of open models has risen from 30 percent to 70 percent in a year. He explained that Salesforce has been able to fully adapt Koa within its own infrastructure, with no customer data used during training or inference. Both Huang and Benioff were excited about Koa's potential to support various business functions within Salesforce.
Koa is already being implemented within Salesforce; it supports, among other things, an employee agent in Slack and will start customer pilots in October. This will begin with companies such as Formula 1, UChicago Medicine, and Baxter Credit Union. General availability is expected in the winter of 2026 for the US. Koa's performance is already promising, with three times fewer errors than other leading models in CRM actions, underscoring its importance in today's business operations.
