NVIDIA Strengthens Agentic Security for Media

During a recent creative industry event in Berlin, organized by Adobe, Bertelsmann, NVIDIA, and UFA, the latest developments in intelligent media were presented. An important announcement is the collaboration between the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and NVIDIA, aimed at expanding the sovereign framework for European public broadcasters. This initiative now includes sovereign cloud providers, developers of open models, and system integrators, allowing broadcasters to deploy agents while maintaining control over their data, infrastructure, and security.

The EBU, the largest alliance of public media with over 115 members in 55 countries, focuses on ensuring editorial independence and data security. The expansion of the initiative aims to create standard services that comply with these principles and define reference architectures for workflows, data management, and system security. Antonio Arcidiacono, CTO at the EBU, emphasized that these standards create a common foundation for EBU members to strengthen their resilience and deliver responsible advanced services that maintain public trust.

In addition, Adobe showcased enhancements in Adobe Frame.io at the same event, utilizing NVIDIA's accelerated computing to help creative teams search video content more quickly. Thanks to GPU-accelerated search pipelines, editors can easily find specific scenes and moments, which is crucial for leading German producers like UFA, who deliver more than 3,500 hours of programming annually. With a new search functionality, editors can perform searches based on concepts, actions, or settings, significantly improving the efficiency of the production process.

The collaboration between Adobe and NVIDIA extends beyond the current developments and also includes elements like Adobe Substance 3D and 3D digital twins for businesses. The technologies presented indicate the growing integration of artificial intelligence in the media world, with a clear focus on enhancing the speed and effectiveness of content creation and production.
