NVIDIA Introduces AI Solutions for Media at IBC

During the IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, where more than 44,000 visitors from over 170 countries gather, NVIDIA presents a comprehensive suite of AI solutions aimed at the media and entertainment sector. These technologies are designed to integrate real-time intelligence into live broadcasting, sports, and production workflows. The company expands its NVIDIA AI for Media with a range of GPU-accelerated software development kits (SDKs) and microservices, enriching media experiences by verifying video authenticity and enhancing content.

A key innovation is the NVIDIA Synthetic Video Detector (SVD) NIM microservice, which helps assess the authenticity of video material. Since its launch, SVD has achieved an accuracy of 99.3% for text-to-video content. Additionally, the SVD is integrated into workflows for news organizations via Dalet to improve the inspection of video material. Media organizations can now also quickly screen content against regional standards and identify synthetic media with Compliance by TwelveLabs.

For sports organizations, NVIDIA offers technologies such as 3D Body Pose, which allows for the analysis of player movements without marker systems. This data can contribute to biomechanical analyses and the production of complex 3D animations. Other developments like Video Frame Generation (VFG) make video motion appear smoother, which is crucial for sports broadcasts and replays.

Furthermore, NVIDIA's Holoscan for Media, in conjunction with the Media Exchange Layer, enables companies to build and develop flexible and connected media applications. This approach facilitates the integration of AI into live media and supports a wide range of applications for media companies, allowing infrastructure to be utilized more efficiently and new possibilities to be introduced quickly. These developments underscore NVIDIA's commitment to enhancing media experiences worldwide and enabling advanced local content production.
