Realbotix launches Echo: humanoid robot from €10,700

On October 26, 2026, Realbotix introduced the Echo, a line of humanoid robots focused on companionship, education, and wellness. The Echo Tabletop and Echo Full Body are priced at $11,950 (approximately €10,700) and $59,950 (approximately €53,600) respectively. Currently, interested parties can make reservations, but actual delivery will only take place in the second half of 2027, and this is exclusively in the United States.

The Realbotix Echo stands out with its lifelike face and various configurations. The Echo Tabletop, a tabletop model, weighs 11 kilograms and has 17 points of movement. The Full Body variant weighs approximately 40 kilograms and is available in two heights: 183 centimeters for the female model and 196 centimeters for the male model. Both robots feature silicone skin and advanced speech functions, connected to popular AI models like ChatGPT.

A notable feature of the Echo is the mandatory subscription model. Without a subscription, the robot is non-functional, with monthly costs starting at $19.99 (approximately €17.90). This means that the total cost for the first year with the Echo Tabletop amounts to approximately €10,900. Customers can choose from four different characters, each with unique traits, designed for applications in wellness and education.

Given the current regulations in Europe, the Echo cannot yet be offered in the Netherlands or other European countries, as the European AI regulation imposes restrictions on the use of AI that recognizes emotions in schools and workplaces. The first production round of the Echo is limited to 250 robots, highlighting the exclusivity of the product. Reactions to the Echo and whether the model is truly used will remain to be seen until after the delivery in 2027.
