Spotify introduceert ‘AI Persona’ labels voor artiesten
Spotify heeft aangekondigd het label "AI Persona" in te voeren voor artiestenprofielen die AI-gegenereerde identiteiten vertegenwoordigen. Dit nieuwe label is een reactie op de toenemende invloed van kunstmatige intelligentie in de muzieksector en de noodzaak om onderscheid te maken tussen menselijke en AI-gegenereerde content.
Met de invoering van deze labels zal Spotify standaard de muziek van AI Persona's uitsluiten van zijn redactionele, algorithmische en gepersonaliseerde aanbevelingen. Het platform wil zo de authenticiteit van muziek hooghouden en gebruikers de mogelijkheid bieden om bewuster keuzes te maken in hun luisterervaring.
Deze stap markeert een belangrijke ontwikkeling in de manier waarop digitale platforms omgaan met AI-gecreëerde content. Door AI Persona's te labelen, hoopt Spotify een transparantere omgeving te creëren voor zowel artiesten als luisteraars, waarbij duidelijk is welke muziek door AI is geproduceerd.
De beslissing om muziek van deze profielen uit aanbevelingen te sluiten, werd genomen om mogelijke verwarring en misleiding bij gebruikers te voorkomen. Spotify benadrukt dat het belangrijk is dat luisteraars weten of ze te maken hebben met authentieke artiesten of met AI-gegenereerde content.
